Jayne Woods

Jayne Woods is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales with 30 years’ experience as a finance professional. She has served on executive boards for over ten years, focusing on finance, risk, governance and operational efficiency and effectiveness.  

Jayne spent 8 years as an auditor and consultant with Deloitte before progressing to hold a number of senior roles in both the public and private sectors.

She is currently a board member of Dysgu (the national professional learning and leadership body for maintained schools and settings in Wales), an independent member of the audit committee of the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales and an independent chair of the audit committees of Comisiynydd y Gymraeg (Welsh Language Commissioner) and Urdd Gobaith Cymru (Wales’ largest national voluntary youth organisation). She has previously served as a board member of Qualifications Wales, a governor at a Welsh Further Education College and as a co-opted member of the Audit and Risk Committee at a university in Wales.

Jayne is a fluent Welsh speaker and lives with her family in Carmarthen.
