We are a new Welsh Government arm’s length body, responsible for funding, regulating and overseeing further education, including colleges and school sixth forms, higher education, including research and innovation, adult education and adult community learning, and  apprenticeships and training.

Senior Skills and Employability Manager

Alongside a colleague, you will work with a broad range of external and internal stakeholders to assimilate research and data to understand the skills employers need, so that Medr can ensure that tertiary provision equips learners for current and future jobs and ways of working.

Manager – Investment and Monitoring x2

We are looking for two managers, one for Part-time and PLA, and one for Adult Community Learning, who will be key to ensuring we achieve best value for money. Effective investment and monitoring of Medr’s budget for tertiary education in Wales is fundamental to successful outcomes for our learners, our society and economy.

As well as overseeing the Part-time mainstream budget for providers, you will lead on the investment and monitoring of Personal Learning Account and Adult Community Learning.

Salary: £38,030 – £44,571 a year
