We are a new Welsh Government arm’s length body, responsible for funding, regulating and overseeing further education, including colleges and school sixth forms, higher education, including research and innovation, adult education and adult community learning, and  apprenticeships and training.

Investment and Monitoring Officer

The Investment and Monitoring team is responsible for investing and monitoring a budget in excess of £972m, allocated for the provision of education at further education colleges, local authority maintained school sixth forms and adult community learning, and apprenticeship providers, as well as funding and monitoring other higher education funding streams for teaching, research and innovation. 

The officer role is critical in ensuring the grants system reflects budget decisions made by Medr’s Board and reconciles with the finance system.

Salary: £30,976 – £36,768 a year

Senior Equality and Welfare Manager

We are looking for a Senior Equality and Welfare Manager who will be continuing and intensifying work on equality of opportunity and welfare, as a vital tool in building a fairer, more equal, healthier Wales.

As a senior manager, you will play an important role in Medr’s efforts in promoting  equality of opportunity and enhancing staff and student welfare.  You will contribute to creating a more equitable tertiary education system for all who can benefit from it.

Salary: £49,301 – £57,083 a year
