We are a new Welsh Government arm’s length body, responsible for funding, regulating and overseeing further education, including colleges and school sixth forms, higher education, including research and innovation, adult education and adult community learning, and  apprenticeships and training.

Head of Provider Compliance

As the lead on Medr’s regulatory system, you will build relationships with Medr’s leadership and key stakeholders to enable the delivery and operation of the new system for the tertiary education sector in Wales.

Leading a small team of regulatory specialists, you will use your skills and experience to manage entry to the regulated system by providers and to monitor ongoing compliance. You will provide assurance to Medr’s Board that any issues arising will be identified and managed through intervention at an appropriately early stage.

Salary: £58,918 – £70,450 a year

Senior Manager – Board Secretariat

Your role will be essential in ensuring that we, through robust governance arrangements, meet our duties as a public body and provide assurance to the Welsh Government and the Senedd around that decision making.

In this role you will develop strong working relationships with our Board members and staff across the organisation, ensuring that our Board and its Committees operate effectively in line with established governance practices.

Salary: £47,519 – £55,019 a year
