Regulatory Framework
The Tertiary Education and Research (Wales) Act 2022 sets out the requirements for a new regulatory system for tertiary education and training providers in Wales. This framework fulfils several statutory duties under the Act.
The Regulatory Framework sets out the Conditions of Registration and Funding that providers must meet. These conditions form the core requirements for compliance and apply across the sector. The table below summarises which conditions apply to each category of provision, recognising that some providers deliver multiple types of provision.
